Salvador Contreras

Salvador Contreras received his PhD in Economics at Claremont Graduate University in 2007.  His field of study was International and Development Economics and his area of research is growth, technological change, development, and human capital accumulation.  Salvador has a publication at the Journal of Macroeconomics.  His current research deals with the effect of migration on human capital acquisition. Before coming to McNeese he taught, at the instructor level, at California State University, Long Beach, and the University of Redlands.
